You can partner with referrers who in turn will target users for subscriptions and investments in your smallcases.

This article explains how you can onboard a referrer and track referrer attributed users on the Publisher platform.


  • Onboarding Referrers

You are required to discuss the commercial agreement between the referrer and yourself and then share the referrer details with the smallcase Publisher team.


You can onboard a referrer by following the steps mentioned here.


  • Tracking referrer attributed users

  • You can track all the referrer targeted subscribers from the Publisher Platform’s Users tab.
  • All of your users are listed in the Users tab.




  • Users can be filtered based on their subscription status and subscription plan.



  • Users can also be filtered based on their investment status, AuM and P&L.




    To see user and subscription details of any user, the ‘See Details’ CTA can be clicked which shows the complete subscription, investment and basic details of the particular user.

  • In the user details modal, the source of user subscription can be seen.
    For all referrer attributed subscriptions, the ‘Added Via’ value will reflect the referrer’s name as shown below.

1. As a smallcase manager, can I create exclusive portfolios to be distributed by a partner referrer?

Yes, you can create smallcases exclusively to be distributed by referrers.

  1. Create the smallcase with the required subscription plan and publish the smallcase.

  2. Change the smallcase state to Hidden: When a smallcase is hidden, it no longer stays discoverable or searchable or visible on any smallcase property including your microsite.

  3. For Referrer: The smallcase has to be published from the ‘Other smallcases’ tab to make it distributable by the RMs from the share platform

2. Is there a sample agreement which I can refer to for getting in the agreement with the referrer?

3. After I onboard a referrer, how will the referrer get the login credentials for the smallcase Publisher Platform?

After you onboard a referrer, you need to send an email to publisher@smallcase.com in the prescribed format as mentioned in the onboarding manual, post which the Publisher team will share the login credentials of the platform with the referrer.
