This article provides a comprehensive guide to the onboarding process with NDML (Section 1) and CVL KRA (Section 2). Please follow each step carefully to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Onboarding with NDML
You can enable KYC verification and download your users' KYC documents from the Publisher Platform only after successful onboarding with NDML as an intermediary.
This is a 4-5 day process which will require you to share an onboarding form along with some other documents with the KRA.
Once onboarded, you will receive a set of credentials.
Please find below the registration form and the list of documents required for onboarding:

Copy of SEBI Registration Certificate duly attested by authorized signatory
Copy of PAN duly attested by authorized signatory
Copy of GSTIN duly attested by authorized signatory
Defaults / Penal Orders if Yes, please share copy of penal order issued by SEBI / RBI / IRDAI / BSE / NSE if any
Authorized signatory details with Board Resolution- duly attested by authorized signatory
Important Note:
If you have a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC): Email digitally signed copies of all documents to NDML on the email IDs provided below; no physical courier is required.
If you do not have a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC): Send hard copies of all documents by courier to NDML's registered office below:

Next Steps after sending Onboarding Application
Once the onboarding process by NDML is complete (usually takes 2-3 working days), you will receive the below details in an email reply from NDML.

After receiving these details, please follow the below steps to create a functional user for your NDML account
Logging in to NDML KRA MI Account
Head to https://kra.ndml.in/ to access your NDML KRA MI account by clicking on MI Login.
On selection, login screen will be displayed as below:
Admin User is required to enter the following details for login provided by the NDML KRA in order to create the operational users.
User ID Password.
MI ID (This is the market intermediary id under allotted by NDML on registration of the Intermediary).
Token PIN: Leave this blank
Login Type: Select ‘’Password’’
After entering the above details, click on ‘Login’ button to login
Creating a new Functional User
After login, proceed to System Security > User Maintenance to create a new functional user.
Click on the New link and admin will be directed to the user creation page as mentioned in the following screen shot:
Now fill up the details as required and mandatory as shown (Marked as *) for password based user
User has to enter 100 as Group ID to enable the operational user for having all the functional rights.Note: The functional User details:

needs to be updated on the Publisher Profile section on the Publisher Platform to enable KYC check & download, more details below
After submitting the details click on the save option and the record will be saved.
Mobile Number Registration
After creating a functional user, proceed to System Security > Mobile Registration to register mobile number for the new user created.
Click on New and then fill the form below with the credentials received in the earlier steps as follows:User ID: Functional User ID
Service Type: 'ALL'
Mobile Number: The mobile number you wish to link
Status: 'ACTIVE'
Terms and Conditions: 'Accept'
Please update the received details on the Publisher Profile section on Publisher Platform after enabling KYC check & download for your subscribers.

Step 1: Email the required documents to CVL
Send an email to CVL indicating your interest in KRA services along with the required documents for getting onboarded. Use the email template below:

Step 2: Submit Required Documents
Prepare the following documents for submission to CVL:
SEBI Registration Certificate*
Copy of Intermediary PAN Card*
Name(s) of Designated / Whole Time Director(s) / Company Secretary along with their designation, Director Identification Number (DIN) / PAN and signature(s)* on the letterhead of the Intermediary.
Copy of the latest Balance Sheet*
Terms & Conditions* (should be Signed & Stamped on all the pages.)
A valid current proof of address in the name of organization* (eg: GST certificate)
Copy of PAN card & proof of address of all the directors/proprietor/authorized signatory*
List of Branches with location details & number of staff at each branches (On Letterhead)
Contact details of each Branch Head i.e. name, telephone number, email id etc. (On Letterhead)
Write-up on letter head about company’s Business Module (On Letterhead)
Confirm if your business module is Online or Offline. If it's Online then share the URL. (On Letterhead)
GST Registration certificate*
Note:
Items marked with (*) needs to be certified by Designated Director / Whole Time Director / Company Secretary along with seal / stamp of Intermediary.
For individual license holders (RA & RIA), CVL requires an advance payment of ₹5,000/- during registration with CVLKRA. This is a deposit, and the amount will be adjusted in the bills raised based on your processing once onboarded.
Step 3: Receive User Credentials from CVL
Once your application is reviewed, CVL will email you login credentials for the KRA system. The email is sent automatically to your registered email address.
Step 4: Create Admin User
The manager should log in to the CVL portal at https://www.cvlkra.com/ using the login ID, POS code, and password provided in the auto-generated email from CVL.
Upon receiving these details, the intermediary will be required to change the password. After successfully updating the password, they should re-login with the new credentials.
Next, the user should click on the "UPDATE COMPANY INFO" menu to verify and update the details available in the CVL-KRA system.
To complete this step, tick the checkbox to digitally accept the Terms & Conditions, and then click Submit.
Once submitted, the Administrator login details will be sent to the registered Admin User email address in the KRA database. This Admin login ID allows the intermediary to upload and download their clients' KYC details in the KRA system
Step 5: Create an API User
Use the Admin credentials to log in to the CVL portal at https://www.cvlkra.com/
Go to the Admin section and click on Create Users
Go to the Admin section and click on Create Users
On the "Create User" screen:
Select Terminal Type: WEBUSER
Enter a Login ID and Password of your choice
Fill in the Contact details for the user
Ensure the Control Information matches the default settings displayed
Click Submit to create the API user
Step 6: Request CVL to Enable API Access and Share SFTP Password
Send an email to CVL informing them about your intent to use APIs and request the SFTP password.

Step 7: Send Hard Copies via Courier
Courier the full set of documents listed in Step 2 to CVL’s registered office at the following address:

Accessing KYC Documents and Associated Charges
Once the user has subscribed, through our integration with CVL, you will be able to download the KYC documents of all users from the Publisher Platform's Reports section.
Key Requirements:
Users’ PAN + DOB (as per PAN) combination is mandatory to request KYC documents.
For mismatched PAN + DOB combinations, KYC documents cannot be requested.
Charges:
₹35 + GST per PAN (one-time charge for successful requests only).
No additional charges for re-requests if KYC documents are updated.
The invoice will be raised by CVL to you on a monthly basis.
Note: The CVL KRA integration is currently under development and will go live soon. We will notify you once it's ready. Meanwhile, to ensure readiness and avoid delays, please initiate the onboarding process with CVL KRA at the earliest.
