We went live with these transparency-related feature updates aimed at making smallcases more transparent and thereby increasing user trust.

Here is the list of enhancements that have gone out as part of this release:

  • Introducing XIRR for invested smallcases

This was one of the most requested features by our users and will help them track their smallcases better with greater insights into future SIP returns.

  • Past performance charts based only on live data

With this, only live data will be used across different time period options on the performance chart. Users can check out the backtested data for existing smallcases in the smallcase factsheet.

  • Making model portfolio returns more realizable

We have shifted from EOD (end of day) prices to the average of next day Open-high-low-close (OHLC) prices for index series/returns calculations on the rebalance days. This has been updated for all historical returns calculations and would reflect in newly launched smallcases as well. This feature will make the user returns more realizable with respect to the model portfolio.

  • Introducing rebalance timeline on the smallcase profile

With this feature users can check out all the historical rebalances, constituents, weights, index series of a smallcase under one section.

  • Enhancing cost calculator logic

Based on user feedback, we have improved the presentation and also included subscription fee in the overall cost along with the transaction & statutory charges for calculating cost adjusted returns.
